The Discord bot is both the origin and the centerpiece of League Utils. It features a vast array of modules and commands that cover everything needed to run a tournament:
- Application management: to give you maximum flexibility, the bot supports several ways of adding teams to your tournament. Not only does it feature a full application moduls that lets team leaders apply with dedicated application channels, it also offers an integration with Google Sheets and Google Forms, both of which can be configured as a source to load teams from
- Roster management: the bot offers dedicated command sets to manage rosters before the start of a season and during your season. Bulk-addition, loading rosters from external data sources and a fully-fledged transaction system allowing team representatives to request changes
- Match management and tracking: the bot is capable of single-handedly generating entire group stages and brackets. If you have a specific schedule in mind, it also supports manual match input and can bulk-read matches from a Google sheet.
- Fairplay: to help you keep your events clean, the bot has a fairplay module including ban list management and fairplay checks on individual players, clans or entire rosters. You can also include third-party ban lists into those checks for added safety
- Media management: the media integration makes managing streams and content creation easy. Innovative UI allows your content creators to easily and intuitively claim matches they want to stream
- Participant toolkit: the bot also comes with a set of commands dedicated to the teams participating in your tournaments. These commands are aimed at managing player availabilities and signups for individual matches, but they also include reminders and match recaps
- Highly customizable: customization is front and center of the bot's design philosophy. A vast number of league and tournament options allow you to tailor the bot's behaviour to your needs
Running tournaments is not the only thing the bot excels at. It also offers a lot of value to clan servers, allowing everybody to make use of fairplay scans or follow their favourite events' progress in near-realtime with a variety of live feeds.
